## Who we are and what this covers

Divyavyoma Technologies Private Limited ("Divyavyoma", "we") decides why and how the personal data described here is processed, and is its Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.

This policy covers divyavyoma.com, the enquiries you send us, and the business relationship with our clients. Personal data inside the systems we host or operate for a client — their customers, their users, their records — belongs to that client and is governed by our [Data Processing Agreement](https://divyavyoma.com/legal/dpa), not by this page.

## What we collect

**When you browse this site.** No analytics, no advertising trackers, no cookies. If you switch between light and dark, that choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us. The site is served and protected by Cloudflare, which processes the technical details of each request — IP address, browser, time and page — to deliver the page and stop attacks.

**When you write to us.** The quote form does not send anything to us: it prepares an email in your own email app, and nothing reaches us until you send it. What we then receive is what you wrote — usually your name, company, email address, WhatsApp number, your answers to the scoping questions, and any attachments, such as cloud invoices for a bill review.

**When you become a client.** Billing and tax details (including GSTIN), the contacts you name for your account, and the conversations we have with you by email, WhatsApp or phone while supporting you.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive personal data such as passwords, financial account numbers or health information in an enquiry. Credentials for a system we operate are exchanged through a secure channel we agree with you.

## Why we use it

- To answer your enquiry, prepare your quote or cloud bill review, and follow up on it.
- To deliver, support and invoice the services you buy, under our [Terms of Service](https://divyavyoma.com/legal/terms).
- To keep the books, tax and company records that Indian law requires.
- To keep this site and our systems secure.

When you write to us, you give us your data for the purpose you wrote for, and we use it for that. We do not sell personal data, rent it, or add you to a marketing list. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we stop.

## Who processes it for us

A small number of providers handle personal data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:

- **Cloudflare** — website hosting, security, DNS and email routing.
- **Google (Google Workspace)** — our email, where your messages and attachments are stored.
- **Meta (WhatsApp)** — if you message us on WhatsApp.
- **Our chartered accountant and auditors** — for invoices, tax filings and statutory audit.

We disclose personal data to a government authority only when Indian law requires it, and we tell you when we are allowed to.

## Where it is stored

Our own infrastructure is in India. Email and the website pass through our providers' networks, which operate inside and outside India. The Act does not require personal data to stay in India; where the central government restricts transfers to a country, we will not transfer data there.

## How long we keep it

**An enquiry that does not become an engagement**: Deleted 24 months after our last exchange, or sooner if you ask.

**Client account, contract and invoice records**: For the length of the engagement, then as long as Indian company and tax law requires us to keep books of account — currently up to eight years.

**Support conversations**: For the length of the engagement and 12 months after it ends.

**Request logs at Cloudflare**: For Cloudflare's standard retention period, which is short and outside our control.

## Your rights

Under the Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; withdraw consent you have given; and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapable of doing so.

Write to our Grievance Officer at [grievance@divyavyoma.com](mailto:grievance@divyavyoma.com). We acknowledge every request within two working days and answer it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

## How we protect it

Access to our systems is through Zero Trust authentication with no open administrative ports, limited to the people who need it. Our mailboxes use two-factor sign-in. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the Act and its rules require.

## Children

Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect a child's personal data.

## Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell our clients by email before it takes effect.
